The Supreme Court of Pakistan dismissed on Thursday a plea to halt inquiry into the Steel Mills corruption case, and adjourned the hearing for a month, report said. During the hearing Director General Federal Intelligence Agency (FIA) Wasim Ahmed termed false to the report of his own department, saying the report showed no difference in amount regarding sale of the steel and its rate in the market. To which the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that you are speaking against your institution and your case could be ended. He observed that you should have filed an FIR against former DG FIA before offering such comments about the report.
