LAHORE - A team of drug inspectors of Health Department Wednesday sealed a factory of spurious medicine at Sher Shah Road, Badami Bagh, during an ongoing crackdown against shopkeepers, selling spurious drugs. The team on a tip raided Try Star Laboratory and recovered huge quantity of ORS, cough syrups, Vicks, spurious vitamins and other drugs with raw material from the factory whereas, the factory owners Tahir Mehmood Barlas and Mehar Abdul Razaq escaped from the scene. However, DCO Ahad Cheema appreciated the performance of drug inspectors and directed them to speed up the campaign.
