SWAT  - Another 21 people were hit by dengue in Swat, more than 60 people lost their lives.

According to the government figure, the count of dengue patients crossed 9,000 mark, in which 5,000 patients were discharged from Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital, 380 patients from private hospitals and 171 patients from the main hospitals of Khwazakhela and Matta after complete recovery.

While 44 dengue patients were still hospitalised in Swat and hundreds of patients are receiving treatment at their homes. Residents of the valley are worried about the dengue and its danger is still looming large in the area. However, the doctors claimed that by October 15, the virus will be vanished as the winter season starts.
