Florida - DM - One of Hollywood's most genetically-blessed couples are said to be on the rocks. According to multiple reports, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are on the brink of splitting due to ongoing jealously issues. They are said to have broken up for a short time six months ago, before reuniting, though this time  it looks destined to be a more permanent separation.
An insider reveals to Us Weekly that the cause of their problems stems from the actor being 'moody', while his girlfriend is 'insecure'. 'She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he's talking to girls,' a source close to Gosling explains. The couple that have been together since September 2011, have been spending more and more time apart as their careers take them to opposite sides of the world. The last time they were seen together appears to have been mid-September, when the stunning beauty took a trip to Iceland to spend some time with her beau on the set of How To Catch A Monster.
With filming now wrapped, Ryan remains in the Nordic country as he edits the pet project he wrote and in which he makes his directorial debut while the 39-year-old also appears in her boyfriend's movie, her scenes were completed earlier this year on the Detroit, Michigan set. Friends say they have noticed a change in Eva in recent times, who used to 'gush' about her romance with the Hollywood heartthrob, who turns 33 on November 12. 'She shuts down anyone who brings Ryan up,' the pal says of recent developments. 'It's clear something is wrong.' The Hitch star's rep insists there's no trouble in paradise, so only time will tell if it's next stop Splitsville for the pair. 'I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon,' the insider spills.
