A bomb disposal squad defused an Indian mortar shell in village Gunnah Kalan-Sialkot here on Tuesday. Local farmers had found the mortar shell while ploughing the fields. The squad defused it, averting the area from heavy disaster. The officials said that the mortar shell was Indian made, weighing 10 pounds, which had been used by Indian forces during 1965 Indo-Pak War. They said that though the shell was rusting but it was still alive.–Staff Reporter
