Rawalpindi - The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) should be crushed with full force in Pakistan.

“The war on terror has become the issue of sovereignty, integrity and survival of the country. Daesh should be crushed before it gets strength in Pakistan,” said Sunni Tehreek (ST) Umela Board District President Allama Sahibzada Khalid Mehmood Zia while addressing a thinker’s forum at Dhamial yesterday.

He said that anti-peace attitude of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a threat to the regional peace.

“The United Nations (UN) should also put Shiv Sinha in list of terrorist outfits,” he demanded.

He also condemned the killings of people during local government elections in Punjab and Sindh. He said the government should deploy army on all the sensitive polling stations to avoid bloodshed in the next phases of election.

The forum was also attended by Allama Abdul Latif Qadri, Allama Sana Ullah Qadri, Allama Hashim Mujadadi, Qari Tanveer Hussain Qadri, Prof Kamran Aslam Chisthi, Haji Sher Zaman and Allama Qasim Mohervi.
