Rawalpindi - Due to negligence of water supply department of chaklala cantonment board, maintenance of 45 water filtration plants could not be completed.
According to reports, it is the responsibility of cantonment board to change the chlorine, filter media, UV lamp and iron’s container four times a year but concerned officials only focus on the maintenance of water filtration plants located in VIP areas.
The cantonment board had set up 33 water filtration plants to provide the facility of pure water to residents while 16 filtration Plants had been set up in Chaklala board.
