Recently, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Pakistan and the government of Balochistan has launched the Suppliers Development Programme (SDP) in order to improve the stability and promote economic development by providing several technical assistance and support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in setting up and expanding their businesses. In reality, the SDP is the part of UNDP’s larger Balochistan Economic Development Project (BEDP) which aims to boost the economic promotion in the entire province by creating jobs, increasing SME competitiveness and nurturing young entrepreneurs.

A report was revealed by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) that Pakistan’s multidimensional poverty index has reached to 71% of Balochistan’s population that lives under the multidimensional poverty where unemployment is growing in a very large number and people are looking for jobs but, not getting any opportunity to jobs in Baluchistan. So, at least the richest province of Pakistan needs to be provide the all fundamental rights where people must not suffer from different kinds of problems and able to live an enjoyable life in Pakistan.
