ISLAMABAD - The Establishment Division has forwarded recommendations of Central Selection Board (CSB) for the promotion of officers of different service groups from Grade 19-20 and Grade 20-21 to Prime Minister Office for final approval.
Following the final approval from Prime Minister, formal notification for the recommended promotions will be issued.
A three-day meeting of the CSB was held on September 28 to September 30, 2021 under the chair of Chairman Federal Public Service Commission. The Secretary Establishment Division, Cabinet Division, all provincial chief secretaries and IGs and Senator Saif Naizi were part of the CSB meeting. The meeting recommended promotions of over 400 officers of different service groups from Grade 19-20 and Grade 20-21 including Pakistan Administrative Service Group, Police Service, Secretariat Group, Foreign Service, Postal Service, Information Group, Inland Revenue Service, Custom Service, Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Military Land and Cantonment Group, Commerce Group, Economist Group and Ex-cadres.
Last week, the Establishment Division had sent the meeting minutes to Chairman FPSC for approval. He sent back the recommendations to the Establishment Division after giving approval.
