RAWALPINDI – Parents of the students studying in Sir Syed School, Tipu Road have expressed grave concern over the sudden hike in the school fee without giving any reason or government notification. The school is a semi-government institution and running on public-private cooperation basis. Any decision, like increase in fee, admission, holidays etc., in the school is made after consultation between the government and the school administration.

But this time, the school management raised the fee without any coordination with or notification from the education department of Punjab.

Talking to this agency, the parents said that the sudden increase in the fee was unjust as there was no point raising it without notifying them in advance. They said that they would have to hold protest demonstrations if the school administration did not reverse the fee hike.

The parents have demanded of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the issue and reverse the increase in the fee.
