LARKANA - PML N leader Marvi Memon has criticised the Sindh government and said that the rulers have failed to provide relief goods to the flood victims across the province.

She said this during her visit to various rain-hit areas of district Kamber-Shahdadkot the other day. She also distributed relief goods among the affectees.

Marvi alleged the rulers are devoid to public miseries and busy saving their government. She said that her party Quaid Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who could drive the country out of all crises, adding that the PML N is striving hard to serve the masses without any discrimination. She said that the Pakistan People’s Party government and its political allies could not fulfil their commitments they had made during the 2008 elections.

She said that the people of Sindh would not give the rulers mandate in the upcoming general elections. Meanwhile, JUI leader Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro said the people of Sindh have been left with no other option but to face miseries but the rulers are busying looting national money.

In a statement issued, the leader said that the Sindh government could not ensure the drainage system in Larkana even after spending millions of rupees in this regard.

He lashed out at the district administration and said several areas are still under rainwater which could not be drained out.

Soomro criticized the government for its anti-Sindh policies and said that due to commission mafia, the government hospitals have turned into slaughter markets where innocent patients are dyeing owing to substandard medicines. He expressed concern over the increasing mortality rate at Shaikh Zyed Children Hospital Larkana.
