Papers rechecking demanded

ISLAMABAD - The students have rejected the results of HSSC part one of Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE), saying their papers were not checked properly.
Showing dissatisfaction on the paper checking, the students said that comparison of previous record of some students showed that the paper checking was fake and unjust.
“The students who achieved A grade on Matric got up to 10 marks in some papers that clearly indicated that their papers were not properly checked this time,” said a group of students. According to a survey conducted by INP, majority of the protesting students are from FSc pre-medical group.
The HSSC students demanded of Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif and concerned authorities of the board to recheck their papers.
Meanwhile, many candidates of Matric supplementary examination of the RBISE showed concerns over not getting their roll number slips. A large number of students were seen in the board office to get their roll number slips only one day before exams. “We have to submit Rs220 in bank to get duplicate roll number slips,” said a group of candidates.
