­DBA warns against amending blasphemy law

MULTAN - The District Bar Association declared that any attempt to amend blasphemy law will be fully resisted, saying the lawyers will not let anti-Islam elements sitting in the assembly achieve their vested goals. In a meeting held here, the DBA members categorically declared that they would go to any extent for the protection of the law. “We strongly condemn any proposal regarding amendment to blasphemy law and demand the govt not to touch it,” demanded through a resolution.
