PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government appointed Jamaat Islami (JI) Lawmaker Muzaffar Seed as Provincial Finance Minister, Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi Law Minister and Inayatullah as KP Senior Minister.
According to a notification, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government inducted JI MPA Muzafar Said in the provincial cabinet as finance minister. The seat was fallen vacant after Siraj-ul-Haq tendered his resignation from the ministry when he was elected as JI Central President. Likewise, Inayatullah of Jamaat Islami was also notified as Senior Minister.
While the Law Ministry post was assigned to Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi. The seat was fallen vacant following the death of former KP Law Minister Israrullah Gandapur in a suicide attack on Oct 16, 2013 in Dera Ismail Khan.
Meanwhile, through a notification, the KP government appointed Dr Amjad Afridi and Shah Mohammad as special assistants to KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
