Sadia Khan awarded coveted French medal

Philippe Thiébaud, Ambassador of France, conferring the prestigious French medal ‘Knight of the National Order’ upon Ms Sadia Khan, former President INSEAD Alumni Association of Pakistan and Honorary Consul General for Finland in Karachi.

KARACHI (PR): Ms Sadia Khan, former President INSEAD Alumni Association of Pakistan and Honorary Consul General of Finland, was awarded the coveted French medal “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite” (Knight of the National Order of Merit) by the Ambassador of France in Pakistan, Philippe Thiébaud.
The induction as a Knight in one of the two French National Orders is a reward for outstanding services rendered to promote cooperation between Pakistan and France, especially in the realm of education, culture and business. The prestigious medal is also awarded in recognition of the particular merits of a distinguished personality.
Ms Sadia Khan, as the former President of INSEAD Alumni Association in Pakistan and now the Vice President of the worldwide International Alumni Association of INSEAD, has been instrumental in promoting friendly relations between France and Pakistan, in creating awareness about French culture and business education opportunities for Pakistanis in France. She also served as the Chair of the Alliance Francaise Karachi in 2009 and on the executive committee of the Pakistan France Business Alliance for the past five years.
