India government BJP passed a bill which imposed the ban on slaughtering of all animal forms and meat. BJP government elected in to power by the Indian citizen on the agenda; “sab ka sath, sab ka Vikas.” After getting into power; they totally forget their claims and agenda made during the electoral process.

A common man can even understand that imposing such ban describes the Hindu extremist ideology. The banned slaughtering of any animal announced by the Indian government near to the Muslim religious festival Eid Ul Adha describes their hypocrisy. The statement from the BJP minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was: “Go to Pakistan, Arab and any other country in the world if you can’t live without meat.”

How can the BJP government justify this? Why is only their religion important? The ban on slaughtering of animals describes the discriminatory attitude of BJP government towards Muslims. Indian constitution in article 25, 26, 27 and 28 provide the right for the freedom of religion to every Indian citizen. The BJP government defies their own Constitution by depriving the Indian Muslims from the right of freedom of religion.
