Envoy inaugurates Taste of Italy Festival at Bahria Town

RAWALPINDI (PR): The Taste of Italy Festival has begun at Greenvalley Lahore and Rawalpindi and will last till the 22nd of October. The ceremony was celebrated at Greenvalley Premium Hypermarket in Bahria Town. The chief guest at the occasion was the Italian Ambassador His Excellency Tommaso Sansone. Accompanying the Ambassador was Ms. Elena Claudia Di Vito, First Secretary and also the Head of Economic, Cultural & Press Office. Cdre (Retd) Ayyaz and Cdre (Retd) Ilyas VCE Bahria Town also graced the occasion. Event was attended by a number of celebrities and socialites from different walks of life.
His Excellency Tommaso Sansone expressed his delight upon seeing the positive response of Italian products from the Pakistani market. He was pleasantly surprised to see scale, logistics and quality of Bahria Town development. He was also impressed with Greenvalley Hypermarket, with its interior and availability of wide range of international products. Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain stated at the occasion that Bahria Town takes the credit for bringing and facilitating hundreds of international brands and will continue bringing the finest international names to Pakistan. He thanked Bahria Town for providing a chance to visit Greenvalley premium hypermarket and terms this as a signal of growth potential for trade between Italy & Pakistan.
The festival includes pastas, pizzas, bakery products, olive oil, perfumes and an exclusive range of apparel from famous Italian brands. There are also fabulous food tasting counters full of fresh, right out of the oven scrumptious delights, delectable Italian specialty breads, cookies and pastries.
The winners of the Taste of Italy Festival Competition on Facebook will be given prizes and shopping vouchers worth thousands.
Hassan Shehryar, a guest at the event, was delighted to see healthy Italian products being acknowledged in Pakistan and highly encouraged the quality of Italian brands included in the festival. Sarah Ali, also present at the occasion expressed her excitement upon seeing her favourite Italian olive oil and perfumes available at the festival.

Hardee’s launches outlet in Rawalpindi
