Woman dies of dengue in BBH

Rawalpindi - A dengue-hit woman died in the Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) here Saturday. The death toll of dengue victims climbed to 3.
As per details, the deceased Faiza (24) was brought to the BBH in critical condition two days ago. The deceased was pregnant and cardiac patient. During the treatment, all her dengue tests were declared positive. The doctors tried their best to rescue her life but due to severe infection, she could not survive.
Talking to this agency, Medical Superintendent (MS) of BBH Dr Asif Qadir Mir said that the deceased remained under treatment in private clinic before coming to BBH. She also went to PIMS for treatment but could not be recovered and lastly she was brought to BBH. She died of various infections.
Heads of all institutions, including provincial health minister were also present in the Rawalpindi for the eradication of dengue in the city.
