Resolution submitted in PA to abolish Nisar’s membership

A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly to abolish the membership of Chaudhry Nisar, elected as an independent member provincial assembly (MPA).

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Momina Waheed has submitted the resolution in the PA. It has been said in the resolution that Chaudhry Nisar didn’t take oath as member Punjab Assembly.

Chaudhry Nisar, while not taking oath, is defaming the assembly floor, therefore his membership as an independent MPA should be ended.

It is vital to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) angered Chaudhry Nisar before the elections and Nisar contested the general elections on 5 seats of national and provincial assembly as independent candidate.

The former PML-N leader could not succeed on 2 seats per national and provincial assemblies and win only a single seat on PP-58 Rawalpindi. He, however, didn’t take oath as member Punjab Assembly and now he is in London due to his treatment.
