ISLAMABAD- Senior Superintendent Police Traffic Muhammad Zubair Hashmi Wednesday advised the road users to fasten seat belts and avoid from the use of mobile phone during driving He said it while reviewing the report on seat belts, mobile phone and high beam violations under which 1139 vehicles were issued traffic violation ticket fining Rs3,38,700 during first two days after implementation of above sections. According to details a report was presented to the Senior Superintendent of Police regarding implementation of fastening of seat belt, use of mobile phone and high beam violations under which 1139 vehicles booked u/s   48-i, 48-ii & 19-i fining Rs 3,38,700/- during first 2-dday enforcement of above law. Commenting upon the report SSP said that ITP will continue its strict action for not fastening seat belt and use of mobile phone during driving and the use of high beam during night.  He added that the aim of enforcement of traffic laws is to make road safer .
