ISLAMABAD - The sub-committee of the Senate Standing Committee on Sports will meet today (Thursday) to discuss the performance of the national players and hockey team in the recently concluded 29th Olympics Games 2008. Chairman of the sub-committee, Senator Muhammad Enver Baig, will preside over the proceeding of the house at Parliament House. Besides the member of the committee, the officials of Ministry of Sports, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) and Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) will join the meeting to reply questions of the senators.  A source said that the meeting would be held at 10:00 am and the heads of the POA and PHF will attend the meeting. President POA will give a detail presentation to the senators regarding the sports activities in the country. The committee will also seek suggestions from the high ups of the sports organisations and give its recommendations.
