Rally against corruption in Ferozewala

FEROZEWALA - Scores of activists of a non-government organisation (NGO), led by advocate Chaudhry Tanvir, held a protest rally against the increasing menace of corruption outside the Press Club on Saturday. The participants of the rally were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-government slogans. Addressing the rally, Chaudhry Tanvir, advocate Mian Abbas Bashir, advocate Iftikhar Ali Tayyab, Rana Idris Mazdoor and others said that after the death of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and Liaquat Ali Khan, corrupt officials had penetrated into every department of the country. They asserted that rulers did not bother to make any law to weed out corruption. They demanded the government to pass a bill in the parliament to weed out the rising menace of corruption.
