OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Chief Traffic Officer Ahmed Mobin has appreciated traffic wardens for their performance on Eidul Fitr. He said no major incident took place in provincial capital owing to the hectic efforts of the wardens. On the other side, according to reported crime three people died while 25 others sustained multiple injuries during various road accidents in the City. Several TV footages aired on Eid captured different scenes of motionless traffic wardens on leading arteries of the City while the wheelies went rampage in presence of wardens. crushed to death: Two people were crushed to death in separate incidents here on Saturday. The 60-year-old M Nazeer, a resident of Gulbergs Jinnah Park, was hit to death by a wheelie. Meanwhile, the 65-year-old M Sadaqat was hit by a speeding car at Bund Road and killed. In a separate incident, one Saqib, a resident of Mughalpura, took poisonous pills and fell unconscious over unknown reasons. The family, however, rushed him to a private clinic where a doctor allegedly administered him a wrong injection, which caused his sudden death. The body was handed over to the family.
