LAHORE (PR) – In connection with the anti-dengue drive, the Government Punjab Public Library took special steps to prevent the epidemic the other day (May 2).
A special group headed by Chief Librarian Azra Usman worked in various departments to ensure preventive measures aimed at minimising the chances of growth of dengue mosquitoes.
A seminar was also organised on the library’s premises to create awareness among the people. The event was presided over by Public Libraries Director General Captain (r) Atta Muhammad, while health experts having different backgrounds spoke on the occasion. Higher Education Deputy Secretary Tariq Saeed Bhatti visited the library and lauded the staff for their efforts.
