PESHAWAR - Special Secretary Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prof. Dr. Noor Ul Iman said we the health department and provincial Govt. really proud of the KMU achievements and we hoped that KMU will strengthen its coordination with health department for achieving its goals; he was talking as chief guest to the certificate awarding ceremony of the KMU employees participating in arrangements of ETEA Entrance Test 2012.

Beside others VC KMU Prof Dr Mohammad Hafizullah, Dir. AA&QA Prof. Dr. Shad Muhammad, Registrar Dr Fazal Mahmood and Controller of Examination Prof. Dr. Shahnaz Akhtar were also present at the occasion.

The Secretary Health said, the milestone achieved by KMU in shape of introducing online registration for Entrance Test 2012, keep KMU in top of the list of all public sector universities.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is the pioneer of introducing ETEA Test for admissions in professional institutions and now with introducing online registration for entrance test is another feather in the cap of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and this credit goes to KMU and its hardworking team under the dynamic leadership of VC Prof Dr Mohammad Hafizullah.

Iman said our province is deprived economically and our literacy ratio is also far behind from other parts of the country than our universities especially KMU is doing well and have achieved a lot in short spam of time. Introducing on line registration is a major achievement in spite that KMU is a medical university and it took a bold step for introducing online registration in the history of KPK.

Earlier while talking to the function VC KMU Prof. Dr. Hafiz said we believe on teamwork and the achievement made by KMU while introducing online registration is just done through hard and dedicated teamwork.  He said from next year the ETEA Entrance Test centers should further be expended to all the divisional headquarters of the province, which not only ease the problems and save the expenses of the poor parents of the province but it would also facilitate all the relevant authorities to arrange proper and up to the mark arrangements for the entrance test.

Highlighting the KMU future academic plans, VC KMU said establishment of Institute of pharmaceutical sciences and launching of three research journals in Medical Education, Basic Medical Sciences and Allied Health Sciences are our immediate targets and hope fully these targets will be achieved in the upcoming academic year.
