NUML holds training for management cadre

PR ISLAMABAD - The first three-day long Indigenous on Campus Training (IOT) for management cadre in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) concluded here at NUML on Thursday.
The topic of first IOT was strategic planning and evaluation. The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Rector NUML Major General (Retd) Zia-ud-Din Najam, while Director General NUML Brig (Retd) Azam Jamal, Registrar Brig (Retd) Aminullah and other staff members were also present on the occasion. Besides NUML, the management cadre of International Islamic University Islamabad and Bahria University were also participated in the training.
Speaking on the closing ceremony of first session, Rector NUML Maj Gen (Retd) Zia ud Din Najam said that “we are committed to the professional and academic growth, development of administrative staff along with faculty and students.” He said that under the guidelines of HEC, these trainings would improve the capacity and efficiency of the universities and promote good governance on campus.
The rector said that the university continued to arrange opportunities for professional development of the staff. He said that under different partnership and collaboration programs many scholarship, fellowship, exchange and capacity building programs were arranged for students, faculty members and administrative staff where they got chances to explore new heights of academic, research and professional excellence.

At the end he distributed certificates among participants.
This was the first three-day IOT and four more IOTs will be conducted on different topics for management cadre till October 15.
