RAWALPINDI - Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has confiscated three truckload goods from different markets in its operation against encroachments.

According to RCB spokesman Qasir Mahmood, the operation was being conducted on daily basis and permanent and temporary encroachments are being removed. 

He said encroachments had been removed from Saddar, Tench Bhata, Peoples Colony, Azizabad, Naseerabad, Allahabad and other areas. Handcarts, counters and other items of encroachers were confiscated. He informed that the confiscated goods would not be returned to the encroachers and would be auctioned.

The spokesman further said, the board was making efforts to control dengue in RCB areas.

He said all possible precautionary measures to control the dengue virus were being taken.
