Lahore - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has held the PTI responsible for the death of a minor who breathed his last on way to hospital.

Talking to the media, the law minister labelled PTI chief Imran Khan as ‘semi mad’ and PAT chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri as ‘Maulvi (cleric)’. “Their politics is nothing but a bid to create chaos in the country. They are toeing the same policy as the terrorists,” Sana said.

Flanked by Punjab government spokesman Zaeem Qadri, the minister said his party had formally made a request to the protesting party to put off its protest till Eid because of security concerns.

Dubbing the rally as ‘catwalk’ by Imran’s supporters, he said: “We wanted Imran Khan to hurl abuses on the government after Eid but he refused,” he added. He said the government requested the PTI leadership to hold public meeting at an open place so that security of the people could be ensured.

“Khan could only manage to gather 6,000 people from all over the country. The people have rejected the politics of Imran and Qadri as they (the two leaders) do not want progress and development of the country which the PML-N government was doing through untiring efforts,” he added.
