KARACHI: The Sindh government on Sunday completed the process of allotting geotags to 7, 724 seminaries across the province, official sources said.

The Sindh apex committee had decided to monitor seminaries by operating the process of geotagging. The decision was taken in wake of poor security situation of the province.

At least 2, 309 seminaries in Sindh have been closed whereas 1, 184 are registered. A letter was dispatched to the Sindh government to take action against unregistered seminaries.
