LAHORE - The Punjab government on Saturday reappointed two heads, while transferring and posting nine officers. Nazar Muhammad Chohan has been appointed as Chairman Punjab Cooperatives Board for Liquidation, Lahore on contract basis. He had resigned as a protest against removal of the Punjab government on February 25, 2009. Niva Usman Omer has been reappointed as Chairperson Chief Ministers Task Force for promotion of Sports. Among transfers and postings, District Coordination Officer Chakwal Jamal Yousuf has been made Officer on Special Duty with the Services and General Administration Department, while OSD with the S&GAD Tariq Waqar Bakhshi has been posted as DCO Chakwal. Additional Commissioner Rawalpindi Muhammad Asif Qureshi has been transferred and posted as the Executive District Officer (Revenue). Superintendent Police Multan Shaukat Awan has been transferred and posted as Director Anti-Corruption Establishment, Sargodha. EDO (R) City District Government Rawalpindi Muhammad Abid Mian has been transferred and his services have been placed at the disposal of Director General, Agency for Barani Areas Development (ABAD), Rawalpindi for further adjustment. Habib Ullah, presently at the disposal of Director General Agency for Barani Areas Development (ABAD) Rawalpindi has been transferred and posted as District Officer (Revenue) City District Government Rawalpindi vice Aftab Ahmad transferred. District Officer (Revenue) City District Government Rawalpindi Aftab Ahmad has been transferred and posted as Registrar Board of Revenue, Punjab against a vacant post. District Officer (Revenue) Gujrat Khawar Kamal has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders. Extra Assistant Settlement Officer, Gujrat Manzoor Hussain has been transferred and posted as Settlement Officer Gujrat in his own pay and scale against a vacant post. He will also hold charge of the post of DO (R) Gujrat in addition to his own duties till further orders. The transfer orders of Additional Secretary (Academic) Higher Education Department Farrukh Zahra Gillani and posting of Maqsood Mumtaz, as Additional Secretary (Academic) Higher Education Department have been cancelled.
