Shaikh Sultani is ideally placed to pursue his latest position, due to his passion for the culinary arts and his excellent reputation within the hospitality industry. He was born and reared in Karachi. He was trained as mechanical engineer but for the lure of better prospects persuaded Sultani in the 1970s to leave Pakistan. I went to Canada, he said.
