LAHORE – No prominent PPP leader turned up at the Lahore Press Club on Thursday where a few party men had organised a seminar to mark 34th death anniversary of party founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Dr Fakhruddin Ch, Diwan Ghulam Mahayyuddin and Farooq Azad were the only known ‘personalities’ who made their appearance on the occasions.

The organizers had earlier announced that PPP’s central leadership would address the seminar. The speakers in their speeches paid tributes to ZA Bhutto as a great leader of the third world highlighting his achievements ranging from holding of the Islamic Summit in 1974 and initiation of country’s nuclear programme.

They also remembered him for giving a constitution to the country and his struggle for the rights of common man.
