KARACHI - The Pakistani trade show in India – Made in Pakistan - has become the centre of attraction for the people of Mumbai as thousands of visitors and buyers have thronged the venue first day of mega event kicked off on Wednesday.

According to Chairman Prgmea SZ Arshad Aziz 5-day mega event will prove to be a great success as we are having visitors more than we expected.

The main feature of the event would be on arranging meetings of our exhibitors with their Indian counterparts to procure long-term export orders especially for the readymade garments and other fabrics that’s why Prgmea has initiated this venture and is trying to establish this event as a regular feature in India.

Aziz said that the maximum number of B2C and B2B meetings between the Pakistani exhibitors and manufacturers with Indian buyers would be arranged, so that Pakistani exhibitors could avail maxim benefit of the event.

He said that the event is being organised in collaboration with a leading event management company Evecon at Mumbai’s World Trade Centre.

He said that there will be an excellent opportunity for potential exhibitors throughout Pakistan to display, market and sell their products mainly readymade garments including yarn, garments, makeup’s, readymade clothing, fashion clothing, home textiles.

Aziz said that Made in Pakistan would become a permanent feature of Prgmea if the current event would become a great success. He said that ministry of commerce, ministry of textile industries and both the high commissions in Islamabad and New Delhi are fully supporting the event.
