LAHORE - The Chief Minister, Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has encouraged the position holders in the Secondary School result 2010, which is a great augury for the bright future of the province. This was stated by Chairman of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore, Prof Dr Mohammad Akram Kashmiri while giving cash prizes to the position holders in the SSC result at the Board office on Wednesday. He said that the reward to the students had increased interest of students in education which would go a long way in the promotion of education. The overall top position holder was given a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and a Pentium computer, the second position holder Rs 15,000 and the third Rs 10,000. The cash awards were given at a simple ceremony, which was attended by Controller Examination Manz-oorul Hassan, Secretary Mushtaq Ahmad Tahir and parents of the students.
