TEAM GB cheerleaders Princes William and Harry were “completely in the dark” over the Queen’s starring Olympic role as a Bond girl.
They only knew about their grandma’s top-secret Opening Ceremony mission alongside 007 star Daniel Craig when she appeared on screen.
While wife Kate was cheering on the Team GB men’s hockey side, Wills, 30, told TV interviewer Sue Barker: “We were kept completely in the dark about it. But now, as she did such a good performance, she’s been asked to star in the next Bond film - I’m thrilled for her.” Harry, 27, added: “Both of us were slightly surprised with our grandmother’s secret hobby - parachuting. It went down unbelievably well.” The fun-loving royals have been three of Team GB’s biggest fans - spotted at several Olympic venues.
Emotional Kate, 30, pumped her fists in the air and held her head in her hands yesterday as she cheered the hockey team to a 4-1 victory over Pakistan at the Riverbank Arena.
