KARACHI - A ‘Neighborhood Watch Programme’ would be introduced in various residential, business and commercial areas of the metropolis.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting chaired here on Saturday by the IGP, Sindh, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari.
It was stated that the programme was aimed at fostering liaison between the police and the community and making the process of surveillance more effective.
