ISLAMABAD  – Islamabad police have arrested seven outlaws including an alleged killer and recovered three 30-bore pistols, wine and stolen items a police spokesman said on Saturday.

According to details, Tarnol police arrested Rashid Mehmud who killed Sajid after snatching cab from him. Rashid Mehmud hired the cab and then murdered its driver Sajid along with his other accomplice Haroon Rasheed. A special police team headed by Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees arrested them and they are being interrogated.

Kohsar police station arrested Ashfaq Ahmed for having 30-bore pistol.  Ramna police arrested two women thieves identified as Sonia, Salma and recovered stolen items worth thousands of rupees from them. Sabzi Mandi police nabbed Shah Faras for having 30-bore pistol while Shehzad Town police apprehended Ashraf for possessing wine bottle.    

Aabpara police arrested Umer for possessing 30 bore pistol while ASI Muhammad Hanif nabbed a drunkard Yaqoub. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
