QUETTA - The provincial capital was rocked on Saturday night as three rockets landed in different parts of the city with huge blasts spreading panic and fear among the people.

According to police, three rockets were fired from an undisclosed location by unidentified people. The first one landed on the rooftop of a hotel located on Jinnah Road, the second near Benazir Bhutto flyover and the third one fell in an empty plot at Sabzaal Road.  The power explosions caused by the rockets smashed windowpanes of nearby buildings. Luckily, no loss of life or property reported.

Following the attacks, police and other law enforcement agencies rushed to the blast sites and cordoned off the area.  No group claimed responsibility for rocket attacks.
