Senator Rehman Malik has claimed in court that his family has foreign nationality while he holds a Pakistan citizenship. Similarly many other politicians and Government employees, including JUI-F leader, have claimed that their families have foreign passports. According to Federal Establishment Code Chapter 9, Serial no 79-82, no Government servant is allowed to marry a foreign national. Under this rule, all the Ministers, bureaucrats and Senators who have claimed that their family members are foreign citizens are not allowed to work for the Government of Pakistan in any capacity. All these personnel should be kicked out of service immediately.

This is an issue of National security as well as breaking regulation, especially since Pakistan has been facing extreme insurgency for the past decade, with reports of foreign organisations involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan. Therefore no Pakistani, with any family members being citizens of another country should be allowed to work for the Government of Pakistan.
