Daska, Pasrur TMAs approve Rs798m budgets

The tehsil municipal administrations of Daska and Pasrur have approved their annual budgets for the Fiscal Year 2015-16.
Daska TMA approved its Rs391 million tax-free budget. Assistant Commissioner Rao Suhail Akhtar said that TMA Daska would spend Rs140 million on different development schemes while Rs150 million would be spent on the establishment projects, saying that the total expenditures would be Rs.361 million.
He said that TMA Daska would get Rs29 million income through the budget, adding that the TMA had imposed no new tax nor changed the ratio of any existing taxes. The AC added that TMA would soon establish a recreational park at Daska besides ensuring the early construction of TMA Daska’s own building for its offices.
Pasrur TMA approved its Rs407 million tax free budget for the fiscal year 2015-16. Assistant Commissioner Tauqeer Ilyas Cheema said that Rs104 million would be spent on development schemes and Rs16.5 million on the salaries of the TMA staff.
He said that TMA had allocated Rs2.6 million for civil defence, Rs2.5 million for CCB development schemes and Rs94.6 million for projects of streetlights, water supply, drainage and women’s welfare. He said that no new tax has imposed, in this regard.
