The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infects cells of the immune system, and makes their functions weak. HIV is an increasing health concern and the number of its affectees is growing in developing countries like Pakistan and India. Pakistan is among the 11 countries in Asia where majority of population is infected with HIV. According to WHO and UNAIDS, at the end of 2015, 36.7 million people were infected with HIV globally. In the same year, 1.1million died due to it. The disease is a serious health problem. I urge the government to eradicate HIV from the country by developing better medical facilities and providing adequate training to medical practitioners.
