KARACHI - Four suspects of a terrorist outfit were apprehended during a targeted raid conducted by Rangers in Macchar Colony area on Tuesday.

Sources in Rangers claimed that one of them was the commander of a terrorist outfit in Karachi and has been involved in current terrorist activities. Rangers did not disclose their organisation’s name. East zone investigation police claimed to have arrested two men allegedly involved in at least three cases of targeted killings.

The arrests were made during a raid conducted at a hideout in Khokhrapar area, adding that the suspects, namely Shahbaz and Saddam were associated with the nationalist party of the Sindh while further investigation with them was underway. Pirabad police also claimed to have arrested an alleged target killer, namely Ismail Hassan who was involved in the targeted killing of a person, namely Shaukat Masih in Korangi area in 2009.
