Islamabad  - President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Iran this week for talks on bilateral and regional issues, presidential spokesman said here on Tuesday. Farhatuallah Babar confirmed to IRNA that the President will visit Iran on December 7 for bilateral talks. He did not give any more details about the visit.

During his visit, the President will meet his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, that will be their second meeting in two weeks. The two countries’ presidents met in Islamabad when the Iranian president visited here to attend D-8 Summit late last month.
