LAHORE - An Additional District and Sessions Court Wednesday granted pre-arrest bail to cricketer Wahab Riaz till December 9. The court granted bail to the cricketer on submission of surety bonds of Rs 50,000. TMO M Amir had got registered an FIR against Wahab. The petitioner said they visited Garden Town Area and witnessed a late night marriage function at the accused’s residence which was the sheer violation of the marriage Act 2003. Earlier, the court had dismissed Wahab’s bail application due to non prosecution. However, he filed the application again and secured bail. "It's a baseless case against us and Wahab has been granted bail until Dec 9 and after that we will file a defamation case against those who raided our house," Wahab’s father Sikander told reporters.–Staff Reporter
