Imran moves SC against NAB chairman appointment

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday submitted petition in the Supreme Court against appointment of National Accountability Bureau Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry.
The petition was submitted by Hamid Khan and Waqar Rana advocate on the behalf of Imran Khan in the Supreme Court, seeking to invalidate the appointment of NAB chairman.
The petitioner said that the records of Qamar Zaman remained controversial during his services and a controversial man could not be appointed as the NAB chairman.  The petitioner further said that Qamar’s character also remained controversial in the NICL case. He pleaded the court to nullify the appointment of Qamar Zaman Chaudhry as chairman NAB and declare the post vacant.
