I could not help, first smiling and then crying when I heard the news that Dr Farooq’s murder will now be investigated in Pakistan. The murder was committed in London, the person killed was a British national, the Scotland Yard who was investigating the case has eaten a humble pie. Is Pakistani police a better team to investigate this case. Is FIA by any chance competent to handle this case. Aren’t we making a fool of ourselves. If we are any good in the field of probing murder cases better go after the killers of Benazir, Zia ul Haq and even Liaquat Ali Khan.
