President Dr Arif Alvi has emphasized for further strengthening trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Morocco.
Talking to Moroccan Ambassador Mohammed Karmoune in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said regular exchange of trade and business delegation was of pivotal importance in this regard.
The president said that the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries is below its true potential, which needs to be increased.
He underlined that Pakistan can benefit from the experiences of Morocco in the fields of alternate energy and tourism development.
The president said that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Morocco and is desirous of further enhancing these relations in all fields. He also extended the invitation to King of Morocco Mohammed VI to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
