Needed;a flourecent yellow

Last week we had to travel from Isakhel (District Mianwali) to Islamabad. The whole family packed in our car to embark on this journey rather late in the day. We opted for Mianwali-Talagang route to reach M-2 as this is the shortest route to Islamabad from our village, Isakhel. By the time we reached the Dhakk Mountains, it was already close to Maghrib prayers. During our journey, I did not see any cat's eyes or any other kind of reflector in the entire mountain range. Since up to here, we had been traveling in the daytime, it seemed okay. There was enough light to figure out the contours of the road at each turn of the mountain road. The problem started when we crossed the Numel Lake. A new mountain range starts from here that stretches up to Talagang. Unfortunately, it was pitched dark by the time began on this range. Driving on for this patch of our journey, with out road lights, cat's eyes or even roadside reflectors, was pure agony. Driving on this extremely difficult, curvy, zig-zaggy mountain stretch, with ditches on both sides, is quite a feat. The most difficult part is coping with trucks and buses coming from the opposite side that usually have their headlights switched to full beam. We decided to start our journey next time earlier in the day. But here is a request to the concerned authorities to pay attention to the problem. -M.
