Your editorial ' India's classic duplicity' truly describes the Indian mindset. This duplicity is surely condemnable but even more condemnable is the strange lopsided, vacillating and submissive stance adopted by the PPP-Zardari government to appease US, UK, India. They are pursuing their fond philosophy of making this country border-less "as every Pakistani carries an Indian in him and vice versa". This harebrained philosophy is devoid of common sense, as it does not take into account the intrinsic hatred of Indians against us. Since the military dictator got replaced by the constitutional despot, the barrage of US drone attacks have forced the PPP government into changing their stance somewhat otherwise they were, at least initially, totally prostrated in front of the foreign powers. PPP has done nothing since it came into power except butchering the poor with ever rising prices and utility charges. The dollar is rising again and it may reach Rs. 100 to a dollar.
