Thousands of people will make a human chain on Kashmir Day here to express complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Held Kashmir.
Talking to newsmen, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sialkot leader Arshad Mehmood Baggu, Sheikh Attiqur Rehman, Mian Mohsin and Arif Mehmood said that the people will observe the Day with traditional zeal, enthusiasm. They said that thousands of people in Sialkot will make a chain of the hands during a massive rally to be taken out in Sialkot by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Shabab-e-Milli at Sialkot city’s congested Allama Iqbal Chowk on Friday. Almost all the political and religious parties, NGOs and civil society organisations will taken out rallies in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur, Chawinda, Badiana, Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Narowal and surrounding areas. The participants will be carrying banners and placards and they will also chant anti-India slogans, besides, burning the effigies of Indian leaders.
Meanwhile, local Kashmiri leaders including Dr Zahid Ghani Dar asked the world to ensure early plebiscite in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They said that the durable peace could never be established in Asia without early solution to Kashmir Issue, adding that the Kashmir dispute had now become a flash point between the two nuclear neighbours.
They also urged the world to use its complete influence to globally pressure India for the early peaceful solution to burning Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of the people of the held valley. They expressed complete solidarity with the depressed people of the held valley and said that the sun of freedom of Kashmir will rise soon and people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will get freedom from Indian yoke.
